Invest EU

InvestEU is a European Union program aimed at fostering investment, innovation, and job creation across Europe. It runs from 2021 to 2027, with a total budget guarantee of €26.2 billion designed to leverage more than €372 billion in public and private investment. The program builds on the success of the previous European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI) and integrates several EU financial instruments into one overarching framework.

• Foster Innovation and Competitiveness: Help companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), access financing for innovation, research, and development.

• Promote Social and Environmental Sustainability: Support the green and digital transitions, with a focus on sustainable infrastructure, social investment, and climate change mitigation.

• Address Market Gaps: Provide financing for projects and sectors where private investment is lacking or insufficient, helping to reduce investment gaps across the EU.
